Jadwiga Piejek - Painting |
||||
My name is Jadwiga Piejek, Wig to my friends and acquaintances, born in 1960, so already at retirement age. Professionally, I was involved in medicine, I worked in hospital and clinical laboratories. Privately, I am connected with Silesia and Krupski Młyn, where I spend my free time admiring the charms of beautiful nature; forests, rivers, rivers, lakes... but also rich fauna. Wandering through the forest or riding countless paths on my worn-out bicycle, I absorb all the colors and smells of nature. My favorite place is the garden, my oasis. I have been painting for a short time, I am fascinated by the play of colors... "my paintings", as I call my paintings, are in acrylic, and my favorite tool is a palette knife. My great fascination with space and the play of colors is also reflected in the themes of my paintings. I have no artistic education, it was only my inner need to transfer beautiful colors onto canvas or paper that made me reach for paints. Painting takes me away from reality and helps me regain and maintain my inner balance and peace. I also have many other interests and hobbies, so there is little time left for painting. For example, I like to make covers, folders or albums from hand-painted sheets of paper. I paint pictures for myself, and for the first time I dare to present them to a wider audience. |
